I really shouldn’t be here. I’ve got so many other things I should be doing. But here I am. Trying to decide what to write about next. In the meantime I’ll share another of my favorite quotes…
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away. -Anonymous
What took your breath away today?
I love this quote too. It’s a really good guide for how to live.
those ‘moments that take your breath away’ are most often spontaneous and unexpected…so rather than just hoping for them to happen, you’ve got better odds by actively being open to unpredictable possibilities…
“All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better. ”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
What took my breath away today was being able to hold my girls close to me…knowing that so many moms are sitting nxt to their “babies” in the hospital…or visiting their grave sites. I never lose focus of the fact that our next breath is NOT promised. So I do my best to breathe slowly, taking in every bit of life I can.
